Deep Sea Fishing in Mossel Bay Cob Catches are picking up in Mossel Bay Waters Winter is something of the past. Although we had good catches of  Hake and Red Fish during the winter the Cob was just gone. I am glad to say that during our fishing trips the past few weeks we were lucky to have some good cob catches. On the other side I do not think it is all about luck. Our skippers with years of experience of the Mossel Bay fishing grounds play a great role in taking our trippers to the fish. We expect that Cob will be getting more as we are nearing the summer and the temperature of the sea water will rise. A day out at sea exposes you not only to great fishing,  but also the diverse ecosystem that consists of dolphins, seals, sharks, whales the albatross and a wide variety of birdlife.
